Description

This course is for the user who has basic experience in using ODEON. The course is a combination of demonstrations, lectures, and hands-on experience.
Geometry modelling – how to import a 3D building model into the acoustic modelling software, and how to create a geometry model from scratch in the ODEON extrusion modeller.
Input and calculations – check the quality of your model. Hints and tricks for calculation setup and saving calculation time. Modelling natural sound sources and loudspeakers, line arrays, etc.
Present acoustic results so customers understand them – how to incorporate data, graphics, sounds and animations in reports and presentations; using the auralisation options with headphones or with a surround speaker setup.

Objectives

Get better at room geometry modelling; learn about the numerous modelling tools and how to combine them at their best. Optimise your calculations and get hints and tools for efficient analysis. Learn how to make use of ODEON 's results – how to incorporate data, graphics, sound files and animations from ODEON in your reports and presentations

Basic experience in the use of ODEON

Participants

A course for persons who have purchased the software ODEON Industrial, Auditorium or Combined (Type 7835, 7836 or 7837) and who have basic experience in the use of ODEON.
