We are proud to announce our latest PULSE analyzer release - PULSE 16, which includes:

Ease of use and performance get a significant boost including optimised reporting, including full access to all metadata captured in both displaying and reporting. Performance is significantly enhanced, cutting time spent for some functions by half.

PULSE Reflex Advanced Processing
With the addition of the Advanced Processing option for PULSE Reflex Core it is now possible to easily perform sophisticated statistical and mathematical functions on multiple measurements simultaneously, e.g., for run averaging. Advanced functions like an interactive order slice spectrogram enables sophisticated analysis of data.

A new calculation option called refined beamforming improves the spatial resolution of noise maps up to a factor of three for measurement in scenarios such as wind tunnels, on wind turbines and trains.

Updated with the latest required standards such as ISO 3744 and IEC 60704-2-4, ensuring that manufacturers of items such as washing machines are able to live up to the new EU Energy Labeling Directive.

PULSE Indoor Pass-by PULSE Indoor Pass-by with Contribution Analysis
Combining conventional testing of pass-by noise in Indoor pass-by facilities with the possibility to quantify the contribution of individual sources at the 7.5 m ISO microphone position using the Source Path Contribution technology.

PULSE Exterior Sound Simulator    PULSE Exterior Sound Simulator
A new module for the Desktop NVH Simulator suite used for auralising the exterior sound that would be experienced by a pedestrian. Useful for design and evaluation of sounds for Quiet Vehicles (Electric, Hybrid, REEV) and tuning of the exterior sound quality of internal combustion engine vehicles.

PULSE Source Path Contribution – Time Insight
PULSE Source Path Contribution - Time Insight allows you to listen to your SPC results, turn paths on and off, listen over a time or RPM range, compare different sets of results back-to-back or apply filters. Easily create 'what-if' scenarios, and listen to what the product could sound like if certain modifications were made.

The PULSE Reflex Structural Dynamics suite now supports Test-FEA integration including interfaces for importing Nastran®, Ansys® and UFF Finite Element models. In addition, a new PULSE Reflex Correlation Analysis package allows powerful correlation of Test and FE models.

PULSE Reflex Modal Analysis Classical Modal Analysis
FE models can be imported into Reflex Modal Analysis - or Reflex Correlation Analysis - and easily decimated to test models for use in programs such as PULSE Modal Test Consultant. Additional mode shape scaling methods have been introduced in Reflex Modal Analysis.

Operational Modal Analysis Operational Modal Analysis
New SSI algorithms significantly improve calculation speed and minimise project sizes in PULSE Operational Modal Analysis. A new batch processing option makes it possible to perform SSI analysis on a large number of time data without user interaction.

Operating Deflection Shape Analysis Operating Deflection Shapes Analysis
Test setup time can now be significantly reduced for large test setups by pre-defining DOFs in a file using the “.csv” format. During file import the DOFs are automatically added to the geometry and linked to the hardware and transducers using the transducers serial numbers.
